Green intrigue celebrates anniversary

More than one hactare of internal woodland has been planted in the Yorkshire Dale interjection to eco-friendly users of a fuel card.
The Fuelcard Company teamed adult with the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust (YDMT) to help boost supports for the charity’s woodland replacement project.
Now, one year on, the Yorkshire-based association has helped to lift £2,699 for the gift by its EcoPoint package, which gives business the possibility to compensate an additional 50p a month to support YDMT’s tree-planting scheme.
David Sharrod, YDMT director, said: “We are intensely beholden to The Fuelcard Company and its business for their ongoing support and joining to both the sourroundings and internal treescape.
“Together we are making a genuine difference, but there’s still a prolonged approach to go, as only about 2.5% of the Dales is lonesome by broadleaf trees, compared with the inhabitant normal of 4.8 percent. It’s adult to all of us to act now to strengthen our sourroundings for destiny generations.”
